PureRED is a leading strategic partner for retailers and consumer brands in digital content creation and management. We build creative experiences and digital content that builds brands by placing contextually relevant moments in the consumer's hands at the right place and at the perfect time. We are preparing to launch a digital platform that will connect data used for driving promotional offers across the eco-system of end-user touchpoints: digital circulars, print circulars, web display ads, emails, etc. One of the goals of this platform would be to enable more self-service functionality for our clients. We are seeking a Director, Development to not only work on this platform but to also provide oversight for the company's technology environment and leads the use and application of technology across the company. Primary duties include deploying effective technology solutions that have been proven effective across the organization as well as to investigate beyond known options.

This role will require someone who can roll up their sleeves to do work alongside their team in a \"start-up\" like environment. The Director will be responsible for leading and managing a team to monitor network, system and service performance and actively encourage a customer-centric engaged effort. The role will be an active participant in the development of strategic roadmaps for all required technology solutions and will effectively coordinate and communicate key technology priorities as defined by Senior Leadership.

Additional job responsibilities include:

  • Clearly advise leadership on issues relevant to strategy and potential risks
  • Translate the company vision into IT systems and procedures, articulating this critical link to the company stakeholders via the overall multi-year technology road map
  • Ensure effective project management oversight by forecasting upcoming issues, constraints, etc.
  • Manage internal resources as well as IT vendors
  • Participate in contract negotiations for all IT vendors
  • Lead issue resolution activities
  • Oversee development of IT infrastructure and operations to ensure key business strategies and processes are supported by systems enabling enterprise growth and flexibility
  • Responsible for guiding the IT budgeting process and managing the budget through-out the year
  • Responsible for meeting IT compliance requirements and service level agreements with internal and external customers such as uptime of websites, load errors, etc.
