The Director of Demand Generation owns and influences all inbound and outbound marketing strategies across the entire organization. Managing a team of demand generation focused marketers, the director's goals are hyper-focused on driving top-line revenue with digital marketing strategies that enable sales teams to sell more.
Essential Functions and Primary Duties (% indicates allocation of focus):Inbound Lead Generation (33.3%)
• Take existing organic inbound strategies to the next level across web forms, webinars and landing pages as well as chart new territory with additional channels.
• Utilize six-figure budget to optimize existing paid inbound strategies and set-up new channels for future success.
• Ensure end-to-end reporting and rock-solid sales enablement is intact and improving across all efforts.
Outbound Buyer Journey Optimization (33.3%)
• Guide service-specific outbound marketing strategies across email, direct mail, surveys and more.
• Collaborate with partners to optimize org-wide email nurturing and newsletter strategies to drive optimal buyer journeys.
• Ensure end-to-end reporting and rock-solid sales enablement is intact and improving across all efforts.
Manager & Adviser (33.3%)
• Manage, support and grow a team of demand generation marketers who lead their respective service lines in inbound and outbound marketing strategies.
• Counsel and scale knowledge to other marketing teams who are also driving demand generation for their units.
• Through influence, guide all marketers utilizing Pardot with consistent enhancements to the platform and the strategies it helps drive.
Preferred Requirements:• Graduate or specialty degree
• 4+ years of experience driving successful strategies with Marketing Automation (Pardot, Hubspot, etc) and CRM (Salesforce, Hubspot, Adobe, etc.)
• 4+ years of experience succeeding in a B2B company
• Desire to win, succeed and outperform the competition.
• Ability to be intellectually creative, strong in process execution and data-driven.
• Demonstrated experience aligning marketing strategies with sales leadership to drives success.
• Proven ability to drive internal communication that produces change in a sales organization.
• Successful examples of creating a new process or onboarding a new platform and then scaling it across marketing teams.
Minimum Requirements:• Bachelor's degree
• 8 years of experience
• 6 years of supervisory experience
• Ability to manage deadlines, work on multiple assignments and prioritize each assignment as necessary
• Proficient use of applicable technology
• Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
