ROLE SUMMARY:
This role assists in digital marketing to increase brand awareness and lead generation across the following areas: SEM/SEO, display, social, native and video, and partner digital channels. This role is critical in driving growth in sales, through storytelling, CRM management and showing return on investment for activities.
OVERVIEW:
Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this role is critical in driving growth in consumer and agent demand and sales. This is a multifaceted role contributing to our storytelling, including developing and executing digital content across African Travel's paid, owned, and partner channels that drives sales results.
This person should have a strong understanding of content needs/nuances of various digital media channels, with the skills to edit and craft stories and assets applicable to each. This role will apply SEO best practices, manage webpages and blogs, suggest new digital opportunities for the brand, as well as craft appropriate digital assets for channel specific distribution (i.e. social, native, blogs, digital ads, newsletters, CRM, partner usage).
He/she is comfortable and familiar with digital analytics, social and digital advertising tools, and possess the skills to compile reports and translate data into recommendations for content, leads and site improvements.
