Altus Group Limited provides software, and independent advisory services to the global commercial real estate industry through its two core business segments: Altus Analytics and Commercial Real Estate Consulting.

The Inside Sales (ISS) Data Scientist role will include building models, gathering data and insights, and presenting your recommendations directly to Sales and Finance leaders. This position will require developing a deep understanding of Altus's business model and data architecture. Ability to win the hearts and minds of Sales Leaders and other cross-functional partners through a customer-centric "get things done" demeanor will be paramount for success in this role.

As an ISS Data Scientist, you will be joining the Customer Success (CS) team to drive productivity and effectiveness of the Sales and Customer Success organization. This position will also evaluate and identify trends in sales by analyzing industry data, from both within a company and outside. This involves collecting and examining data and using the information gathered to create coherent, intelligent reports, then presenting your reports to your team and to management.

We are open to this individual working remotely from the US or Canada, with some travel required.

What you will do:

  • Ability and willingness to regularly take on ad hoc projects within the broader Sales Strategy and Operations sphere of influence
  • Advise Sales Leaders of the impact of go-to-market strategies
  • Develop, own, and maintain quota models and reporting to help drive insights to Sales Leaders
  • Partner with IT and Analytics to implement quota setting software as well as set up scalable workflows that maximize accuracy and efficiency
  • Be a true business partner and advisor, not an order taker
  • compile and analyze data over time to forecast sales trends
  • communicate with management team regularly
  • review past sales data to identify trends in productivity
  • prepare accurate reports using data from internal and external sources
  • evaluate third-party data to determine best practices for company success
  • present actionable information and insights to team members and management
  • gather and analyze data to understand problems and address them proactively
  • collaborate with team members and members of other departments
  • Mine data, help support building out ISS campaigns, scorecards, and reporting dashboards and MBR/ QBR

Who you are:
  • 5-7 years of Inside Sales Reporting/Analytics
  • Inside sales team experience with reporting, account maintenance, and annual goal setting.
  • Experience using Salesforce Reporting and identifying and creating KPI metrics
  • Facilitate the annual account transfer process across all business units.
  • Experience with Maintaining and distributing weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting for various lines of business.
  • Experience with statistical reports and analysis for internal management and external customers to drive sales results and behaviors to help encourage revenue growth.
