The department of Neurology has an exciting opportunity for a Full Time Data Management Coordinator to work at UHealth. The Data Management Coordinator reviews new research administration proposals, awards, contracts, and other relevant data documents. This position also oversees and mentors junior staff members to ensure activities are efficient and in compliance with applicable requirements.

• Manage and oversee the intake of data from disparate sources (e.g., REDCap, machines, external vendors) into a central repository (Azure Database)
  
• Ensure data completeness, correctness, and consistency through regular QA/QC checks
  
• Perform data queries and create reports and dashboards
  
• Devise and build pipelines for data transformation and transportation
  
• Assist PI and Co-PIs in overseeing and tracking data-related activities and work product of junior research staff (e.g. research assistants, students)
  
• Help CCBH scientists manage, process, and analyze data
  
• Create and maintain up-to-date data and database documentation (e.g., data dictionaries or metadata)
  
• Work with the Medical IT department to ensure the correct functioning of data storage, archiving, backup, and recovery procedures
  
• Other data-related tasks as requested by the principal investigator

Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
  
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience

• Skill in collecting, organizing, and analyzing data.
  
• Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems.
  
• Ability to exercise sound judgment in making critical decisions.
