Chief Objective of Position:The Data Integration Developer will maximize the value from the University's information systems supported by the Office of Student Information Systems. This position will analyze, design, develop, implement, and maintain database-driven applications and interfaces, while focusing on managing and enhancing the university document imaging/workflow system (DMS) and the Ellucian Banner Student and Financial Aid modules. This position supports the Division of Enrollment and Students (ESS) as well as other administrative and academic offices. Under the supervision of the Director of Student Records Systems, this position will assist in development and documentation of best practices, implementation of practices that align with the goals of the ESS division and Christopher Newport University (CNU), and automation initiatives that bolster program and record integrity, while promoting the "students first" service concept. In addition to other duties, this position will serve as the backup for technology implementation, including Slate and the transfer portal VA.
