Data Engineer - Spark, Scala, Kafka, Flink This is a hybrid remote position but does require in office attendance at a cadence of 1-2x per week on certain weeks. We are open to have you visit our Irvine office or our San Jose office.
If you are a Data Engineer with experience developing batch spark jobs or Realtime data pipeline development using Scala, Kafka, Flink, please read on!

What You Will Be Doing Creating and maintaining Spark jobs written is Scala
Creating and maintaining Flink jobs written in Scala
Writing new platform features using either Java or Scala
Produce unit and system tests to ensure backwards compatibility and integration
Participate in design and architecture discussions to improve our framework and increase adoption and desire to build apps on our FW
Define scalable calculation logic for interactive as well as batch use cases
Participate in cross-department collaboration for complex data analysis
