Must have

• MUST HAVE (Minimum Qualifications)
• Bachelors degree
• 7+ years of experience with a bachelors degree or 5+ years of experience with an advanced degree

A DAY IN THE LIFE

• Provide technical leadership in architecture, design and engineering in building state of art Data platform on AWS.
• Build the infrastructure required for optimal ETL/ELT of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL and AWS big data technologies.
• Create data models, data integration and design.
• Build high quality data pipelines for Spark in AWS EMR.
• Data analysis using apache spark and other tools in AWS EMR.
• Building curated data sets in one or more of the reporting backend systems like Snowflake and/or Redshift.
• Working in AWS Cloud native application development and Cloud deployment.
• Use DevOps tools like Gitlab, maven and orchestration tools like to automate pipeline execution.

NICE TO HAVE (Preferred Qualifications)

• Previous Medtronic experience
• Preference given to current Medtronic employees
• Priority consideration will be given to local applicants
• Work experience in building up ML pipelines using Spark
• Working experience with analytical tools like Dataiku and ThoughtSpot.
