Overview

Intrepid Solutions provides cross functional support to the National Air and Space Intelligence Center. This diverse team includes providing services in network hardware support, physical and virtual servers, help desk support, systems administration, IT infrastructure installation and maintenance, and storage and backup administration support. Intrepid is currently seeking a Data Center Network Engineer to support installation, configuration and maintenance of network components that support the Customer's mission. A qualified Data Center Network Engineer candidate will be able to meet the requirements, and perform the duties, outlined below:
Responsibilities

• Coordinate maintenance, monitoring and installation of multiple WAN/LAN environments encompassing multiple specializations, platforms and technologies.
• Support network traffic analysis and bandwidth optimization efforts and provide functional network utilization reports.
• Identify and resolve complex network interface issues, provide network integration services.
• Maintain architectural diagrams and document all installations/changes.

OPERATING HOURS AND EXPECTATIONS:

• This is a full time position, with standard operating hours Monday - Friday, unless otherwise indicated during the interview process.
• Position requires 100% onsite support.

TRAVEL: Position does not require travel.

Qualifications

CLEARANCE: Active Top Secret / SCI **TS/SCI required upon application for initial consideration.***

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor's degree. (e.g. information systems, computer science, math or engineering) and five (5) years of experience, or;
• Ten (10) or more years of experience directly involving Network Engineering work

CERTIFICATION(S):

• Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II (CompTIA Security+) certification, required.
• Vendor specific network training/certification (Cisco and Brocade), desired.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Comprehensive knowledge of routers, switches, path panels, concentrators, associated terminals, and related network hardware and software.
• Cisco Unified Communication Manager configuration and infrastructure, highly desired.
• Windows Server 2008 & 2012; Exchange and/or SQL experience, highly desired.
• Knowledge of VolP implementation and support.
