Description: Our client is currently seeking a Data Analyst - HS
Location: Remote

Overview:

-Primary responsibility is soliciting requirements to build a data mart, including requirements gathering, documentation, database design and data validation.

-Must have thorough experience working independently to lead requirements gathering and status updates meetings

Technical Skills:

-SQL - Advanced/Expert level for table creation, data validation and ad-hoc reporting, possibly automating scripts via stored procedures

-Tableau - Intermediate for data validation, reporting (can substitute SAS skills for analysis & validation)

-Excel & Powerpoint - Intermediate / Advanced - for data validation and summation of validation and requirements results for easy consuming by stakeholders

-Database Design - Intermediate - must understand database and data warehouse fundamentals (fact / dimension tables, star schema, snowflake, etc)

Interpersonal Skills:

-Requirements gathering - Intermediate / Advanced - Must be able to solicit, organize and document KPI, metric and data requirements from stakeholders at various levels

-Autonomous - Must be able to work independently and with a team, will sometimes need to seek out and schedule meetings with stakeholders as needed to gather requirements, obtain or provide status updates, etc.
