The Data Acquisition team is looking for a Data Analyst to support our data acquisition efforts, you will be working alongside our collaborative team of data analysts, business analysts, subject matter experts and developers. You will work to monitor and improve our business processes regarding our automated data collection processes, perform research regarding source and root-cause analysis, problem solving and creating new solutions and reports. You will be responsible for communication with courts and other data sources to ensure that our collection efforts are up to date.

You will bring with you solid problem solving skills and SQL database experience and the ability to understand various public record data formats and information. Ideally you have some understanding of the life cycle of various public record data.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor business processes for errors and exceptions and ensure our collection efforts are timely and up to date.
• Research and review data quality and business processing issues, perform root-cause analysis and provide solution requirements.
• Reporting on collection and business process performance.
• Communicate with data sources to issue payments and request data deliveries.
• Identify, design and provide process improvement requirements.
• All other duties assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Management Information Systems, or equivalent experience
• Demonstrated competence using SQL and Excel to perform data analysis
• Willingness to learn new products and conduct root-cause analysis duties
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Motivated to deliver value and work with the team to succeed

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience performing data analysis and root-cause analysis duties
• Experience with Pentaho Kettle ETL tool
• Experience with Laserfiche
• Experience with report development
• Experience with agile development and testing
• Knowledge or experience with handling civil judgment, tax lien and bankruptcy public record data is a plus
