Job Summary:

Cybersecurity Manager of Workforce Directory, Multifactor Authentication and IAM Governance Services within the Identity Access Management (IAM) organization. Responsible for end-to-end management of related services consumed by applications supporting the workforce, dealers, customers, and suppliers. Manages people, processes, and technologies used globally to support the security and IAM vision, mission, and strategy while accountable for tracking progress and measurement aligned with regulatory requirements.

What You Will Do:

This position is for a proven technology leader who enables the delivery of complex global IAM Directory, Authentication, and related IAM capabilities in alignment with enterprise IT Security strategies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Engagement in setting IAM security strategies for Caterpillar that impact business outcomes.
  • Research and analysis of new processes and technologies available in the IAM industry aligning with corporate systems and strategies.
  • Develop business cases to secure approval and funding for implementation of new systems and technologies.
  • Provide leadership for the refresh of roadmaps enabling security systems, programs, or processes impacting business or other corporate process partners.
  • Act as a change agent for these programs and responsibilities include creating, developing, maintaining, and tracking integrated initiatives for effective operations.
  • Manage staff and projects, delivering business and technical solutions providing security risk mitigation to the enterprise.
  • Ensure standard work is defined, monitored, and supported to ensure the scope of services achieve and maintain compliance to internal policies and procedures, including those relating to sustainability, cybersecurity, SOX, and IT General Controls.
  • Develop, maintain, and coordinate audit compliance actions for the analytic and technical aspects of Directory and Authentication services.
  • Identify and mitigate associated threats and vulnerabilities for accountable products and services.
  • Manage the capital and expense budget for operations and related programs.
  • Establish and maintain a well-developed network of IAM industry professional contacts.
  • Lead, develop, and motivate others.
  • Work independently with attention to detail and sensitivity to deadlines.
What You Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science / related area or strong IT experience
  • Demonstrated prior strong management experience
  • Strong writing, communication, and presentation skills and able to deliver messages to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to balance Customer Experience and IT governance
  • High Level of customer focus with professional communication skills
  • Demonstrated quick and clear decision-making skills in a collaborative environment, strong people management, and a focus on developing others
  • Self-starter with strong technical leadership skills and business acumen
  • Ability to think broadly and strategically, balanced with high attention to detail.
  • Able to execute on multiple projects simultaneously in fast-paced environments.
  • Possesses a service and solution-oriented approach
  • Takes responsibility and achieves results
  • Excellent organizing, time management and priority setting skills
  • Strong experience in Information Security including Identity Access Management
  • Excellent, hands-on technical knowledge and experience working in an enterprise infrastructure and applications environment.
  • Able to communicate technical information effectively with management, work groups and others on all aspects of program building and evolution
  • Ability to share knowledge and collaborate by developing content and documentation for distribution to other team members, managers, and customers
Desired NOT Required:
  • Industry recognized certification in security (e.g., CISSP, CISA, CISM, etc.)
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with privileged identity management, access governance and other IAM solutions such as Active Directory, Azure AD, CyberArk, Ping Federation, Multifactor Authentication, Digital Certificates, etc.
  • Extensive experience in business analysis, documentation, and user access review
  • Extensive knowledge of project management best practices, tools, and techniques
