What You Will Be Doing - Build security systems to protect our data from unauthorized access, threats & attacks.
- Ensure Information Security controls are designed, built and engineered to meet compliance requirements
- Act as the SME for various platforms - SIEM, IDS/IPS, Anti-malware, EDR, Vulnerability Scanning, PenTesting, Data Governance tools, etc.
- Own the IT infrastructure (on-prem & Azure)
- Work side by side w/ threat hunting team to track status of known vulnerabilities/exploits and work with IT/Business Dept. to promote remediation
- Support implementation of new security capabilities - product evaluations, rollout plans, system testing
- Contribute to systems security review of new technology, new & existing APIs/applications
- Review compliance against security policies/standards
- Review privilege levels assigned to system users
- Perform system certification - ensuring only certified systems allowed to join our network
- Contribute to improving security architecture as part of Information Security team
What You Need for this Position At least 6 years in IT along with experience in:

- Information Security Engineering/Cybersecurity
- Cloud Security - Azure
- Firewalls & Network Infrastructure
- Vulnerability Management
- SIEM technologies
- Windows OS
- Programming/Scripting Languages - Python, PowerShell, C#, Bash, etc.
- Cybersecurity Frameworks - NIST CST/800-53

Preferred Hands-on Experience with some of these tools:

- Sophos, Crowdstrike, SentinelOne AV and/or EDR
- Rapid 7, Tenable, Qualys or other vulnerability management platform
- Stealthbits, Varonis, Purview or other data governance platform
- CheckPoint, Prisma Cloud or other CSPM
- Linux/Unix OS
