Job Description Summary

The Cybersecurity team is recruiting highly motivated, detail-oriented Cyber Risk Analyst who will break down complex threats into manageable plans of action, use your experience to work with IT programs to discover their cyber risks, understand applicable policies, and develop mitigation plans.
This position works as part of the Governance, Risk and Compliance function, which is responsible for management of cyber risk across the enterprise.

This position requires strong organizational and communications skills to work with both a technical and non-technical audience at all levels. The applicant must also demonstrate an advanced ability to analyze, support, and resolve issues regarding cybersecurity and risk.

Job Description

  • Evaluate applications, tools, projects, and systems to identify risks to the organization introduced by their design, configuration, implementation, or development.
  • Produce high quality assessment documents that clearly articulate risk in a meaningful way, ensuring risks are understood by the stakeholders for appropriate corrective action plans to be built.
  • Researching, evaluating, recommending, and implementing information security-related technologies for security investments focused on monitoring technical resources, evaluating potential threats, and reducing exposure to vulnerabilities.
  • Performs risk assessments working with subject matter experts, gathering supporting information, assessing existing controls, identifying control gaps, and quantifying risks associated with processes, technologies, and projects.
  • Works with process, technology, and control owners to communicate results of risk assessments including the identification of risks, control gaps and recommended remediation activities. Serves as an advisor to stakeholders to build action plans and design and implement controls to address gaps identified.
  • Assist with the department's implementation of the Risk Management software module from ServiceNow.
  • Work alongside Information Technology, production, and business partners to develop plans to enforce security requirements and address identified risks, vulnerabilities, and other security exposures
  • Performing control and vulnerability assessments to identify control weaknesses and assess the effectiveness of existing controls, and recommend remedial action
  • Monitors action plans as agreed to with stakeholders to ensure remediation activities are completed according to the agreed upon action plan to help mitigate risks identified.
  • Serves as an internal risk management consultant to the organization responding to inquiries and requests for assistance.

  • Ability to define problems, collect/analyze data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, prepare reports, prioritize and manage several concurrent initiatives.
  • Ability to analyze and communicate complex technical challenges to both technical and non-technical clients and stakeholders
  • Develop security processes and technical control procedures; identify, select, and support technical solutions and common security toolsets
  • You have a good understanding of perimeter and network security; server architecture; threat intelligence including intrusion detection/prevention; and cloud security
  • You understand IT Operations, monitoring of devices and systems, change control procedures and risks associated with manufacturing
  • You are an excellent communicator, a strong technical/process writer, and enjoy problem solving
  • You're a multi-tasking pro and love working on multiple projects simultaneously and juggling priorities

Basic & Preferred Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience with complex cybersecurity projects or programs
  • Knowledge of risk management frameworks, NIST SP 800-53, ISO 27000, CIS
  • Experience with security tools and devices, including network firewalls, web proxy, intrusion prevention systems, vulnerability scanners or penetration tools
  • Bonus points if you have a bachelor's degree in Information Systems or Computer Sciences and/or experience in manufacturing

This compensation is specific to this position and takes into account a number of variables. Actual compensation may be higher or lower in the range posted based on various factors, including, but not limited to, job duties, experience and expertise. A candidate's work location could also impact the actual compensation being outside of the range to reflect local cost of labor. A reasonable annual estimate of the range for this role based on the variables previously mentioned is: $69,430.00 - $104,150.00
