Description of Role:

The ideal candidate for the newly created CX eCommerce - Dealer Success Strategist position embodies GM's Behaviors and brings an appetite to deliver personalized consistent experience for our customers. This role will be focused on the success of our dealer partners within the digital space while utilizing gm tools and products. The candidate will act as a liaison between eCommerce product managers and gm dealer partners. The ideal candidate is responsible for implementing strategies to increase the number of dealers that are engaged with gm digital retail tools. Moreover, act as a subject matter expert to gm partners on how to develop action plans to achieve market leadership within eCommerce space. The candidate will also be assisting in designing the best in class digital retail products by providing observed dealer feedback for product improvement, material clarification, onboarding. In Addition, the Dealer Success Strategist is responsible for product training, relaying best practices, and assisting with process change management to ensure dealer success on their OKRs to drive growth and revenue. He or she is an entrepreneur, fast learner and always thinks customer first. A progressive track record with a proven ability to lead change, collaborate and influence across all functions, effectively prioritize and thrive in an ambiguous / fast-paced environment is a must.

Required Qualifications:

  • BA / BS in Business, Marketing, Business Administration, or related fields
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in sales, account management and customer service
  • 3+ years of automotive / field experience
  • Performance management skills: setting clear goals and objectives, measuring performance, and providing guidance and direction to improve performance
  • Strong communication skills and ability to tailor communication style, frequency and approach for multiple audiences, including working teams, colleagues and senior executives
  • Excellent time management skills - the ability to effectively and efficiently use your time to focus on the most impactful activities and challenge those that distract from the identified goal
  • "Leadership" DNA: Able to motivate and inspire and act as catalyst for innovation and change
  • Experience working with geographically dispersed teams

Additional Job Description

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree / M.B.A.
  • Strong understanding of dealership technology systems (eLeads, DealerSocket, DealerTrack, vAuto, Reynolds & Reynolds, CDK, etc)
  • Proven record of driving results while implementing digital retail strategies
  • Experience with Conversational Commerce space / Digital Retail environment

Compensation: The median level of salary compensation for this role is $98,90. An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
