Posting Summary:Develop, coordinate and implement a comprehensive training program for Vermont Department for Children and Families (DCF) personnel, caregivers and community partners in collaboration with child protection and youth justice stakeholders and the Child Welfare Training Partnership (CWTP) team. Actively engage in assessment of learning needs, curriculum development and evaluation, utilizing a variety of media and modalities. Provide consultation and coaching to staff and community partners. Represent the CWTP at meetings and forums.

Master's degree in social work or a related field and two to three years' experience in child protection and/or youth justice required. Knowledge and experience in child welfare, child protection, youth justice, child/family health/mental health, education, human development, foster care and/or adoption required. Experience in design and delivery of online, hybrid, virtual and in person training materials required. Knowledge and/or experience in systems change work. Knowledge of and practice in universal design. Working knowledge of word processing, and knowledge of and comfort with different technology and online learning navigation. Skills in utilizing spreadsheets, internet and email communication required. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines required. Effective written and verbal communication skills required. Ability to travel frequently to off-site work locations around the state required. Experience with MS 360 programs including SharePoint, teams etc.. Experience and comfort with internet and email communication required.
Desirable Qualifications:Skilled in utilizing software to develop branded, consistent templates for use in training including but not limited to Excel spreadsheets, word, Canva, and adobe.Experience with online e-learning development software including Storyline, Articulate, Vyond.Experience with learning management systems.Experience in curriculum development and competency-based learning design.Experience teaching in an adult learning setting.
Anticipated Pay Range:$65,000-$69,000
Special Conditions:Contingent on continued funding, External candidates must complete a 4-month probationary period, A probationary period may be required for current UVM employees, Travel to and from worksites required, After this week, position posted until filled, Bargaining unit position, This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule with an option to split time between campus and elsewhere, in accordance with the university telecommuting policy, Background Check required for this position
