Customer Service Specialist

Career Type: Direct Hire / Full-time

Career Location: Waterloo, IA

New employees will complete three and a half days of on-site training prior to work from home, due to the pandemic. Grainger is committed to the safety of all its employees and has instituted enhanced cleaning protocols at all facilities, including your training center, as determined by local and national government and health authorities. You can expect social distancing, temperature checks, and other procedures designed for your safety during your training. After training, team members will be eligible to work from home until local restrictions are lifted and infection rates decline. Given the current state of the pandemic, we do not anticipate employees will return to a facility for the remainder of this year.

Key Qualifications:

• Recent customer service experience in a call center environment
• Experience fielding a high volume of inbound calls preferred
• Strong tenure at recent places of employment
• Technically savvy (Dual monitors, MS Office, CRM Software)
• Experience using CRM software is a plus
• Strong verbal communication
• Must have great attention to detail for order/data entry
• Criminal background check will be administered
• Drug test will be administered
