RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a CPQ Product Owner for a remote role.Summary:As the Product Owner for CPQ Implementation, specializing in telecommunications B2B sales processes, you will serve as the bridge between our business stakeholders and development teams, guiding the vision and roadmap for our CPQ platform to meet the specific needs of enterprise B2B solutions. Leveraging your deep understanding of B2B sales processes in the telecommunications or cable/MSO sector, as well as CPQ best practices, you will define requirements, prioritize features, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that streamline our sales operations and drive business growth.Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and prioritize the product backlog based on input from stakeholders, market trends, and business objectives, ensuring alignment with the overall CPQ strategy and roadmap for enterprise B2B sales
  • Collaborate closely with sales, sales operations, finance, product management, and IT teams to gather and prioritize requirements for CPQ implementation and feature development, specifically tailored to the telecommunications B2B sector
  • Translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and feature specifications, working closely with development teams to ensure successful implementation and delivery within the context of B2B telecommunications sales
  • As a Product Owner, you will be the primary point of contact for stakeholders and development teams, providing guidance, clarification, and support throughout the development lifecycle, with a focus on addressing the unique requirements of the managed services B2B market
  • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and validation of CPQ features and enhancements, ensuring they meet quality standards and effectively support telecommunications B2B sales processes


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role, with a focus on software development and sales enablement solutions within the telecommunications or cable/MSO B2B sector
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex projects or products in the telecommunications B2B market involving CPQ solutions
  • Strong understanding of B2B sales processes, pricing models, and quote-to-cash workflows within the telecommunications or cable/MSO industry
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment, with proficiency in Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization, specifically within the telecommunications B2B context
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills, able to translate business requirements into technical solutions and vice versa, while addressing the unique needs of the telecommunications B2B market
  • Experience implementing CPQ platforms (e.g., Salesforce CPQ, Oracle CPQ, SAP CPQ) and familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics)
  • Passion for innovation and continuous learning, with a desire to stay ahead of industry trends and drive positive change within the organization


The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
