Position Summary
The Morgridge College of Education is looking to hire adjunct instructors for the 2022-2023 academic year to teach a variety of graduate courses in the Counseling Psychology. Courses may vary. This posting will serve for multiple openings throughout the 2022-2023 academic year.
Basic Teaching Duties
Course Adjunct Faculty Responsibilities:
- Teach in person once or twice a week (depending on course);
- Create and maintain course Canvas container;
- Meet with students as needed;
- Assign papers, exams and other deliverables as appropriate;
- Grade in a timely manner;
- If the course includes multiple sections, collaborate with instructors of other sections.
Required Qualifications - Master's Degree
- Previous teaching experience
- Successful teaching/facilitation experience with adults at the graduate level.
Preferred Qualifications - PhD
- Successful teaching/facilitation experience with adults in graduate education programs.
Course Rate Adjunct faculty are compensated at a rate $1,125 per credit hour taught.

The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information, but not based on a candidate's sex or any other protected status.
