We are working with a publicly traded company looking to hire a Corporate Development Analyst. Over the past two years we've worked with the Corporate Development Officer to help scale the team. They are making a significant investment in this function which leadership views as a critical piece in driving future business strategy.

The position will offer extensive exposure to the executive suite, a performance-based promotional path versus tenure-based and an opportunity to define the scope and trajectory of the role. The ideal candidate will be able to provide value from a strategic perspective and will dive into the business.

Some details below:

As a Corporate Development Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting corporate development activities. We are looking for a strategic thinker to develop financial models, business cases, business development, market intelligence, and effectively partners with M&A deal team in the execution of transactions.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Working with subject matter experts to assess strategic growth opportunities that accelerate the company's mission
• Conduct analyses of growth opportunities to analyze key market, customer, competitive, product and technology trends, and articulate required organic and inorganic options to meet growth objectives
• Conduct rigorous market and financial analysis including market assessment, business case, synergies, build vs. buy modeling, ROI etc. to provide detailed guidance and scenarios into potential acquisitions and other strategic opportunities, and provide input into deal valuations
• Develop presentations summarizing findings for management
• Manage broad, multi-functional stakeholders to effectively gather subject matter expert input, align leadership team and drive to actions
• Manage staff in enterprise wide projects

Qualifications:

• 3+ years
• Bachelors or advanced degree in Finance, Engineering, Computer Science
• Strong academic record
• Executive polish and strong communication
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Strong Modeling and analytical skills
• Experience in corporate strategy, corporate development, finance, management consulting, investment banking, and/or equivalent experience
