Position: Controller/Accounting Director

Location: North Canton, OH (In-Office)

Overview: We are seeking a Controller to join our growing accounting department in North Canton, OH. This is an in office position with tons of room for growth. This position is responsible for the accounting and finance operations of the organization including financial close, financial consolidation and internal reporting, accounting policy and procedures, and financial systems

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead accounting teams in policy and process development to ensure compliance with US GAAP.
• Maintain effective internal accounting controls and oversee annual reviews.
• Analyze financial results and oversee external audits.
• Provide strategic insights for business decisions and acquisitions.
• Drive organizational and individual development within the accounting team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• CPA designation preferred.
• 10+ years of accounting experience, including corporate controller roles.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze complex financial data and make strategic decisions.
• Proven track record of building effective teams and fostering professional development.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
