Overview / Responsibilities

The candidate primary responsibility will be to m onitor and control the remote operation of wells and production systems from a centralized control room.

Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood is required

  • Utilize electronic remote well supervision to reduce Safety & Environmental impact
  • Enter daily volumes into computer database
  • Monitor inputs into electronic data gathering software and comparing input data with output data for correctness
  • Monitor and optimizing production and costs within area of control
  • Preform emergency corrective actions as required
  • Operate a company-provided vehicle to perform job duties in a safe manner
  • Adhere to all Safety, Environmental, and company policies and procedures
  • Dispatch field personnel to critical alarms
  • Prepare accurate daily reports as required
  • Monitor and optimize costs within area of control
  • Operate a company-provided vehicle to perform job duties in a safe manner
  • Adhere to all Safety, Environmental, and company policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned


Skills / Qualifications

  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft applications (including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook) and other assigned computer programs
  • Monitor SCADA equipment and report issues using the work order system.
  • Pumping/Production/Well Operations knowledge a plus
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, including but not limited to the ability to work from written or verbal instructions
  • Ability to work with a team, take direction from supervisor(s), focus attention on details, follow work rules, and adhere to established work schedules.
