Job Description and Responsibilities

This is an entry level position working under the general supervision of the Vice President of Contracts Management and is responsible for activities related to the full lifecycle of contract administration support including, but not limited to:

  • Assist with the contracts management lifecycle process from inception through execution. Facilitates pre-award and post award activities in support of projects.
  • Reviews new contracts to ensure all necessary clauses have been included.
  • Monitors contractor performance for compliance with applicable laws, delivery schedules, payment provisions, contract data reporting requirements, and other contractual requirements.
  • Draft and negotiate a wide range of agreements for clients in support of government awards. Review and red-line subcontract terms including Term, Terminations, Renewals, Payment terms, Pricing, Royalty and Profit share, Purchase obligation, Price match clause, non-compete clause, non-solicitation clause, Non-Publicity Clause, Assignment and change of control, Exclusivity, Indemnification, Limitation of Liability, Governing Law, Jurisdiction.

Breadth of duties may span several sub-specialties and may be either company-specific, typically handling pre-award and post-award administration, or more broadly defined encompassing the Enterprise as a whole.

Must successfully complete a comprehensive test scenario at the conclusion of the in-person new hire training.



Job Requirements
Required
  • Proficiency in all MS-Office applications including Excel and Office 365.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Contracts Management, or related field and equivalent work experience.
  • Excellent ability to handle multiple tasks and many details. Strong interpersonal skills in a fast-paced deadline oriented and changing environment.
  • Ability to work independently with confidence. Strong planning, strategizing, managing, monitoring, scheduling, and analytical skills.

Prefer (not mandatory)
  • Knowledge and experience with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) is a plus.
  • Deltek Costpoint Experience - setting up a project, managing the workforce, understanding the Time & Expense interface, running project summary reports, etc.

Physical Requirements

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. May include lifting weight up to thirty (30) pounds as necessary.
