JOB SUMMARY

The primary responsibilities will include: leading and driving the timely production of RFP response including the coordination and management of internal resources and deadlines, development of and programmatic updates to client-facing marketing materials (presentations, pitchbooks, "leave-behinds", etc.), and assisting with the identification and strategy development for new products. Secondary responsibilities will include information management, working on new business opportunities in K-12 Schools throughout the US and database management.

RESPONSIBILITIES & PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES

• Reviews the RFP proposal production/documentation guidelines; leads the physical production, publication, and delivery of the proposal and related products
• Assists as needed in developing/maintaining proposal schedule, plans, outlines, templates, and mockups
• Write and edit copy for lead generation, presentations, speeches, news articles, and other corporate publications
• Collaborate with project managers and staff to write project descriptions that showcase company experience
• Assists in establishing, maintaining, and providing accessibility to proposal resources including past performance, resumes, prior proposal database, and other boilerplate information including corporate overview, core competencies, program management plan, contract/sub-contract management plan, quality assurance plan, retention plan, etc.
• Prepares creation of covers, spines and graphics
• Achieve 100% on-time submission rate for RFPs, RFQs and RFIs
• Compose and prepare responses to correspondence and other inquiries as appropriate
• Work closely with leadership and operations on all initiatives

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

Required: High school diploma or GED

Preferred: Bachelor or Master's degree in English, Business, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related major

Experience, skills/abilities & knowledge:

Required:

• Three to five years of experience leading the proposal process from prepositioning phases through interview and driving team to develop complaint and competitive bids
• Strong communication skills both written & oral good negotiation, problem solving, planning and time management skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Understanding of marketing techniques (layout, graphics, strategy-to-win)
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
• Flexible and able to meet challenging deadlines
• Excellent organizational skills required with ability to multi-task and prioritize

Preferred:

• Knowledge of staffing industry
• Knowledge of RFP process with schools or government

Pay Rate
$61,500 - $73,000 Salary
Final pay rate is dependent on experience, training, education, and location.
