RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Sparks, NV that is seeking a Construction Project Manager - Self Perform to work on large scale ground-up Engineering-Procurement-Construction project that requires exceptional talent. The product portfolio is expanding with never-built-before production lines.Summary:The Self-Perform Construction Project Manager will lead an internal self-perform group of carpenters, laborers, and operators to construct the SEMI production facility. Our environment is fast-paced and incredibly exciting.Responsibilities:
  • Successfully deliver large, design build, and self-performed construction projects
  • Ensure on time, or ahead of time delivery of construction projects, enabling your teams to solve problems and prioritize execution
  • Promote a safe and quality driven culture, both project and company wide
  • Coach and mentor counterparts and subordinates on excellence in the construction industry
  • Use efficient and aesthetic communication methods to escalate roadblocks or communicate successes as necessary
  • Provide the best product for your respective project customer or end users, keeping projects moving forward and fixing concerns as they arise
  • Fabricating skids as a descent portion of their scope; Compressed air; Different fluids going into the vehicles
  • Skid fabrication, carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum pipe for the compressed air
  • A good variety of piping systems, for the skid fabrication, but also for the installation and base build of the mechanical system
  • Distribution of the piping
  • Distribution of compressed air and different piping systems above ground
  • Will handle all above ground
  • Will have a fire protection pipe fitter, who would be responsible for relocating branch lines for fire protection


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent
  • Ideally 10+ years of experience on large commercial or industrial construction projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation skills
  • Advanced knowledge and proven delivery on Civil, Structural, and Architectural, Mechanical, electrical, life safety and controls scopes
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Bluebeam, and Construction Cost/Data Analysis
  • Willingness to get your hands dirty as needed to complete objectives and lead your times through challenging projects
  • Ability to work within a high-performance, cross-functional organization with extremely tight timelines and aggressive goals
  • Can-do attitude, ensuring all stakeholders are engaged and aligned to the project goals
  • Experience with process piping, commercial and light industrial experience; Fire protection would be a huge plus
  • Wet prevention systems experience
  • Able to bring in your passion for advancing energy sustainability, your desire to work on difficult problems pushing the limits, your willingness to value team success beyond your own, and your unwavering positive attitude towards sustained hard work


The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
