As the First Commonwealth Community Engagement Manager you are driven by making a meaningful impact on the communities in which we serve and representing a positive brand image as part of this impact. You have a passion for community involvement and working with schools, municipalities, local businesses and non-profit organizations across our footprint to improve the financial lives of our neighbors and their businesses. You embrace differences, understanding and working to meet the diverse needs in our communities; have an expert level knowledge of the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) and its importance and impact in our giving strategy and associated regulatory examinations; and are comfortable interacting with individuals of every demographic. You focus on good corporate citizenship, enriching business relationships and building financial confidence as you lead outreach efforts and coordinate virtual, onsite and off-site events, community giving and sponsorships.

A Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience and a minimum of three (3-5) years in a marketing, community outreach and/or customer-centric financial sales position are required. Knowledge of and experience in community organizing with familiarity of community development principles and tools that strengthen community relationships. A proven track record of exceeding assigned goals, delivering a high level of customer service and adhering to operational expectations are also required. You must be organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and stay in front of deadlines. A flexible schedule including weekends, a valid driver's license and the ability to travel regionally are required.

Essential Job Responsibilities____________________________________

1. Develops and drives the bankwide community engagement strategy and the expansion of programs that demonstrate First Commonwealth's positive and community-oriented brand image and proactively seeks opportunities to promote First Commonwealth as a good corporate citizen and elevate brand exposure.

2. Develops and facilitates productive relationships with relevant community organizations to manage implementation of selected projects, as well as building and strengthening business relationships, and increasing community involvement within bankwide footprint.

3. Serves as expert in community giving space, creating strategy and policy and providing consultation and recommendations on community giving at the bank, regional, and market level,

4. Works in close partnership with Executives and Regional Leadership to advise and execute community giving strategy, objectives, and opportunities, including guidance on required percentage of CRA eligible giving.5. Works to ensure the quality of all giving areas, including developing the policy and procedure and implementing the initiative along with identification of performance indicators, outcome measures and data management - analyzing, synthesizing, and making recommendations based upon findings.

6. Identifies opportunities and integral partnerships to present Financial Confidence in our communities and coordinates those in partnership with Financial Education Coordinator.

7. Works in close partnership with First Commonwealth's Communications and Media Relations Specialist to find internal and external public relations opportunities for relevant community engagement initiatives.

8. Works in close partnership with First Commonwealth's website management team to make sure upcoming community events and other engagement opportunities are well represented on internal and external websites.

9. Determines strategy for hosting and/or participation in priority community events; directing and managing resources to ensure execution success, including overseeing the registration process, coordinating volunteers and working with other partners.

10. Develops, implements, and manages strategic follow-up plans and wrap up summaries to maximize and report on ROI of community events and initiatives.

11. Develops and facilitates presentations to implement community giving strategy at regional and market levels.

12. Has a strong understanding of, our brand, our customer service promise and the products and services we deliver and ensures they are represented well to our community partners and at community events.

13. Directs and oversees the community giving annual budget and allocations, providing monthly and quarterly budget reporting to partners.

14. Manages Community Giving/Sponsorship request process, including Community Giving Application documentation. Works with employee advocate(s) and gathers and coordinates all necessary information to move the request through approval or to re-evaluate, including CRA requirements.

15. Manages bankwide EITC giving efforts and gathers information necessary to make a recommendation of annual EITC allocations in alignment with strategic goals. Manages disbursement and delivery of EITC funding as well as coordinates efforts to leverage public relationship exposure of the contribution.

16. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to direct partner involvement in overall community engagement strategy.

17. Performs networking activities through community involvement and attends networking events when applicable, to represent First Commonwealth Bank in the community, build community relations, and stay engaged with community giving trends and opportunities, bringing back information to help strengthen strategies and bank tactics.

18. Manages a database of events, donations, sponsorships, networking and/or business memberships and affiliations and is able to report on these at the branch, market, region, state and bank level.

19. Builds and provides detailed current and historic giving reporting to the giving committee, CRA officer, line of business leaders and others as requested.

20. Participates with CRA committee, CRA sub-committee, and Mid-Tier Bankers Collaborative as community engagement liaison.

21. Works closely with CRA officer to create and implement CRA strategy and objectives within community giving. High level knowledge of the Community Reinvestment Act and bank goals. Identifies CRA giving opportunities to create partnerships and achieve CRA goals.

22. Supports employee engagement community giving activities, like the annual United Way campaign, as a campaign advocate and a liaison between employees-bank-organizations.

23. Serves as chair of leading the First Commonwealth's giving committee with responsibilities including determining appropriate leaders to serve on committee, reporting, scheduling meetings, collecting supporting information for all requests to be presented at the meeting, leading meeting discussion, disbursing information in advance and in follow up to the meeting.
