Primary Purpose of Position
  • Works collaboratively with retail leadership to recommend and develop content for all departmental meetings and events, including planning and coordinating onsite events
  • Recommends, outlines, researches, and composes a variety of engaging content, including email memos, PowerPoint presentations, process documents, internal website content/communications (Pulse blogs, Pulse library), videos and talk tracks
  • Acts as a communication hub for pertinent business and process updates, employee news, Idea Box management, and new hire announcements, researching independently and working directly with stakeholders to obtain the necessary information to craft and distribute informative communications that support the daily operations and business strategies
  • Adheres to Holman's style guide, ensuring we produce a high-quality and error-free product
  • Gathers, reviews, provides recommendations on surveys and other department exercises to support employee engagement efforts and the CEC's Great Places to Work (GPTW) strategies
  • Partners with leadership to schedule, create content for and participate in store business reviews with Retail leadership
  • Acts as the primary point of contact between in-store management and the CEC on key department processes such as Pulse updates
  • Maintains departmental lists and systems, including distribution lists and Predictive Index, to ensure all content is current
  • Support and evaluate results of communication campaigns with the team
  • Manages departmental Achievers milestones and celebrations
  • Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned

Relevant Work Experience:
  • 2-4 years' experience
  • Reviewing and improving communication processes, methods, and tools to increase efficiency, knowledge and collaboration within the department and with our internal stakeholders
  • A self-motivated innovator who has a strong attention to detail and organization with a deep understanding of Holman
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication with experience delivering communications to all levels of business stakeholders up to and included senior leadership
  • Ability to work with department leadership and leverage our data to help improve department performance
  • Keen interest in driving strategic messages to key internal stakeholders
  • High functioning ability in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Power Point and Excel
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects at one time
  • Strategic and creative mindset
  • A portfolio of work available to review
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to follow a hybrid model of 2 days a week in office - (Tues/Wed and subject to change)
