Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Commercial Superintendent to lead construction projects within the education and municipal sectors. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful project management, strong leadership skills, and a thorough understanding of construction processes. This role will be based in the western region of Fort Worth.

Responsibilities:

Project Oversight:

• Manage all aspects of commercial construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.
• Oversee the execution of education and municipal projects, ensuring compliance with specifications, safety regulations, and local codes.
• Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to achieve project goals.

Site Supervision:

• Provide on-site leadership and supervision.
• Monitor construction progress, resolve any issues, and ensure work is completed on schedule.
• Conduct regular inspections to maintain quality standards.

Budget Management:

• Allocate and monitor project budgets, tracking expenses and cost control.
• Collaborate with the finance team to ensure financial targets are met.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates for change orders and additional work.

Stakeholder Communication:

• Communicate effectively with clients, project stakeholders, and team members.
• Address any concerns promptly and maintain positive relationships.

Safety and Compliance:

• Uphold safety protocols and enforce compliance with safety regulations.
• Ensure adherence to environmental guidelines and best practices.

Documentation:

• Maintain detailed records, including daily logs, progress reports, and safety documentation.
• Prepare and submit necessary reports to project management.

Qualifications:

• Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as a Commercial Superintendent.
  • Proven success in managing education and municipal projects.
• Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
• Skills:
  • Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in construction software and project management tools.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.

Compensation:

• Salary Range:
  $90,000 to $120,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
