General Description:
We are looking for an Electrical/Systems Engineer II/III with Military Combat Systems experience to help shape the Future Naval Surface Force!
The Combat Systems Electrical Engineer will provide technical support in the area of Combat Systems Engineering. He/She will Generate and/or maintain Combat System Cable Block Diagrams (CBD), Cable Installation / Interconnection Drawings (CIID); including Cable Running Sheets (CRS), Minimum Data Sets (MDS) and Cable Impact Statements (CIS).
He/she must be equipped and able to work as part of a highly skilled and multi-functional, multi-disciplined team in order to maintain support and assist in Combat Systems and Weapon Systems development, design and integration for in service ships as well as Future Surface Combatant Force (FSCF) ships, both manned and unmanned.
Qualified Combat Systems Electrical Engineer applicants will have a strong background in problem-solving and analytical skills, organizational skills, and interpersonal skills. Combat Systems Engineers must also be self-motivated, reliable to deliver on time, quick thinking, be able to work in a fast-paced work environment and be familiar and comfortable with using computer software/programs.
A derivative of this exposure is the development if a well-rounded, advanced level of knowledge of systems administration, network administration, software and hardware troubleshooting, and process documentation.
