Job Description

Job Title: Collaboration Engineer

Joining Intuitive Surgical means joining a team dedicated to using technology to benefit patients by improving surgical efficacy and decreasing surgical invasiveness, with patient safety as our highest priority.

The Collaboration Services team in IT is responsible for enabling productivity solutions for our colleagues. We are seeking a strong Collaboration Engineer to work with our dream team environment in order to deliver best collaboration solutions to our colleagues.

Primary Function of Position:

As a Collaboration Engineer you will be primarily focused on being the SME and technical & functional support of the collaboration services. Be a core member of the collaboration team to enhance, design, implement, and support current and new collaboration services.

Collaboration Engineer duties and responsibilities

·         Provide day to day implementation and operational support of collaboration tools including SharePoint, Box, O365 and Unily

·         Automate functions using Perl, JavaScript and python. 

·         Experience with tableau a plus

·         Gain expertise in the collaboration solutions as a power user and be the voice of the product to the business units.

·         Work closely with Business Leaders and Service Owners to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value and ROI

·         Create awareness of the vendor product release plans and create partnership for delivery of new functionalities

·         Develop and deliver recommendations for improving current collaboration services and technologies Maintain and update current SLAs, Change Management, RCA, and documentations

Qualifications

Collaboration Engineer requirements and qualifications

·         Approximately 5 - 8 + years of experience with managing and supporting collaboration software

·         Diagnose and resolve moderate to complex system problems relating to collaboration services and technologies

·         Ability to work under limited direction with a moderate degree of maturity, discretion, and judgement

·         Ability to run weekly reports on collaboration systems capacity, usage, and performance

·         Outstanding written and verbal communication and presentation skills

·         Excellent organizational and time management skills

·         Excellent stakeholder management skills through shifting and conflicting priorities.

·         Extreme attention to details and ability to manage competing and changing priorities.

·         Able to develop complex operational scripts using Python or equivalent language to automate operational tasks

·         Exposure to working with SLA's, Change Control processes, and corporate ticketing system such as ServiceNow

·         Strong analytical skills and the ability to be technically self-sufficient

·         Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical associates and vice-versa.

·         Strong sense of customer service for internal customers
