We are seeking a talented CNC Manufacturing Engineer with optics and someone that is eligible for secret clearance.
-Base salary, $90K-$115K and can be flexible DOE ++

-Background in process improvement and tooling/fixture design, the industry isnt too important. (Aerospace & Defense always beneficial.)
What You Will Be Doing -Responsible for producing precision optics and optical assemblies.
-As an experienced CNC Manufacturing Engineer, you will join a team which includes opticians, metrologists, machinists, technicians, technologists, and engineers.
-This position will expose the candidate to various optical manufacturing assignments supporting multiple business units.
-The core job function will be to provide standardization of CNC programming techniques, protocols, data storage, and efficiencies through the employment of industry best practices.
-The position will require you to develop and productionize CNC processes to support new and existing machinery and products. Major duties for this position include the manufacturing of optics as well as evaluation and refinement of existing CNC practices.
-You will also work with Data Management and Information Assurance to establish appropriate protocols for file and data management in support of the CNC group.
What You Need for this Position -Define and develop CNC manufacturing programs and process routings.
-Support manufacturing of high precision optics on CNC manufacturing equipment; manufacturing documentation, process documentation, and technical requirements.
-Develop manufacturing processes on CNC machinery (grinders, polishers, multi-axis machining centers, etc..)
-Contribute your skills with machine control and programming to improve processes and identify opportunities to enhance product quality and increasing efficiency.
-Incorporate tool changing, onboard touch probe, and metrology into existing production work.
-Identify problems and recommend solutions on a variety of the more complex CNC / manufacturing issues.
-Contribute as a subject matter expert concerning new manufacturing techniques.
-Incorporate lean manufacturing principles and tools and in-process and post-process inspection and measurement of optical products.
-Support full compliance to Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) requirements
