Job Description Summary
In support of Dr. Rinad Beidas implementation science research portfolio, we are a team of expert scientists, trainees, and staff who are passionate about improving the health and mental health of underserved and underrepresented populations through implementation science. We are seeking a full time Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) A who will be providing coordination across: (1) an NINR-funded R01 grant, with the goal to conduct a hybrid type II effectiveness-implementation trial testing an adaptation of the Managed Problem Solving behavioral intervention for antiretroviral therapy adherence and HIV care retention delivered by community health workers and (2) the Penn CFAR-funded Implementation Science Research for Ending the HIV Epidemic (ISPHERE) Scientific Working Group, with the goal being to develop & test real-world strategies to implement proven interventions for prevention and sustained treatment of HIV infection, and partner with entities responsible for their implementation.
Job Description
The CRC A position will provide coordination across the above activities. This includes but is not limited to: coordinating qualitative research activities (e.g. interviewing stakeholders); coordinating research meetings and stakeholder engagement and training activities; tracking engagement and research collaborations born from the working group; working closely with the research team to ensure grant activities are conducted in accordance to the projected timeline; working closely with the ISPHERE team to cultivate and maintain a strong partnership within the working group.
The CRC A position will supervise any part time staff that support the above activities which may include the recruitment, hiring, training, supervision and evaluation of part time student workers. The position will work with the Associate Director D to ensure all regulatory requirements are being met for the research project as well as all busines and financial activities adhere to departmental, University, industry and federal policies and/or procedures to maintain compliance.
The CRC A position must have impeccable organization, verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. They must be able to work independently and exhibit good judgement. Experience working with research faculty and/or community stakeholders is preferable. All applicants must be able to demonstrate familiarity with word processing, spreadsheet, database, and web-based applications.
This position is contingent upon funding.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree with 1-3 years of related experience in research and clinical study methodologies or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
