Summary:
This position is in the Clinical Research Laboratory Service group and supports the clinical research mission of the organization. Primary functions include: the maintenance of research regulatory documents and compliance as it relates to biospecimens management of new studies, amendments, and all other study documents; data collection and tracking; or biospecimen management and study compliance, processing and shipping of biospecimens; interactions with internal and external customers, including clinical and research teams.

Starting salary for this position is $48,603 annually which includes a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience

1. Associate's degree in a health or science related field; or
2. High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and two (2) years of clinical research, acute care or related experience.

NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

The preferred candidate will have experience working in a laboratory setting; biospecimen handling; experience ordering and maintaining lab supplies and inventory and the ability to read, interpret & execute summarized study specific lab guides. They will also have experience with Clinical Research Biospecimen Process, accessioning using GLP, experience with lab QA, QC, lab logs, temp monitoring, research reference labs, esoteric or special tests. They will also have strong written and oral communication and excellent customer service.
