Accolade's Outreach Pharmacy is currently recruiting for a Full Time Clinical Pharmacy Manager.

The hours for this position is from 8am to 8pm EST. Applicants will be required to work in the office 5 days a week to start with a hybrid option after 3- 6 months. There is flexibility during the training period with the leaders approval.

Applicants with Call Center Operations experience, Medication Therapy Management (MTM), and/or Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM), this position is for you!!!

Role overview

As a Manager, Clinical Pharmacy Outreach you will be leading, supporting and coaching a team of pharmacists and technicians that are engaging with members on their healthcare journey. You will enable your team to provide great customer care, develop and grow your team, and help them meet their performance objectives. The Manager, Clinical Pharmacy Outreach is a hands-on working leader that has a passion for service excellence and possess a blend of skills:

A day in the life...

  • Direct supervisory responsibility for team of pharmacists and technicians on a growing team.

  • Understand Pharmacist and Pharmacy Technician roles and hold team members accountable for process execution.
  • Develop ways to shape member's pharmaceutical care for better outcomes.
  • Identify, support, and implement best practices that meet quality/process improvement standards.
  • Ensure that all necessary member and customer-related activities are completed in a timely manner consistent with Accolade's high standards.
  • Coach to minimize missed opportunities by working with Pharmacists and Technicians to adjust approach and/or enhance member interaction techniques.

  • Train team members and onboard new hires to develop a high functioning technician team.
  • Apply critical thinking and judgment to know when to coordinate with the right expert resources within Accolade to meet member/customer/team needs.
  • Explain Customer and Accolade priorities or decisions in a way that obtains understanding and buy-in from Pharmacists and Technicians.
  • Assess, recommend, and participate in quality and process improvement initiatives within the team to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Assists with development of pharmacy policies and procedures as well as business and operations plans.

  • Work with pharmacy leadership to execute special projects.
  • Perform all functions of a staff Clinical Pharmacist as needed.

What we are looking for...

  • 3+ years of relevant, progressive management experience (and demonstrated success):

  • Managing a team in a high-touch service environment (with an inbound/outbound telephonic call center model); including motivating team members to high-performance and achievement of specified goals.

  • Recognizing and developing talent.
  • Creating a team environment which results in open communication, behavior consistent with company values, and group inter-dependency.

  • Successful tenure as Pharmacy Team Lead may substitute for management experience.
  • Comfortable with various computer programs at the user level.
  • Able to communicate to varied audiences in a professional manner.

  • Ability to build consensus and to work through others in achieving desired results and objectives.
  • Team player capable of working effectively with internal and external partners.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and evolving atmosphere and eagerness to participate in the progression of the field of pharmacy.
  • Licensed pharmacist with PharmD in good standing.
  • MTM experience required.

  • Specialty experience/certifications preferred but not required.
