This fantastic hospital offers a comprehensive line of services including 24-hour Emergency Department, Family Birthing Center, Surgical Services, Medical Imaging, Swing Bed, Respiratory, Rehabilitation, and Laboratory, just to name a few. Reporting directly to the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO), the Clinical Licensed Social Worker will be responsible for the direction and implementation of the Social Services / Discharge Planning Department in the acute care hospital. The Social Worker will play an integral role in ensuring that patients and families alike are well educated and prepared for the next steps in recovery and rehabilitation. 

The Clinical Licensed Social Worker will provide orientation and education to the Social Services / Discharge Planning departments as well as to the multidisciplinary Nursing staff throughout the hospital. The Social Worker will be responsible for developing, organizing and implementing programs, policies and procedures, conducts case work services and counseling and recommends any necessary changes to ensure the hospital and its patients continue to receive the best care possible. The Social Worker will oversee the performance improvement activities within the department and participates in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities in both the department and hospital as a whole. The Clinical Licensed Social Worker is a vital connection between patients and the fantastic services this hospital provides.
