Under the general supervision of the Clinical Lead and Operations Manager, will work collaboratively with NSCC School of Radiologic Technology.

Adheres to all responsibilities associated with Radiologic Technologist Role

Additional responsibilities as Clinical Instructor.

• Provide students with clinical instruction on their department's imaging protocol.

• Supervise students and work with students while they are working on the floor.

• Review and correct competency forms filled out by technologists.

• Review anatomy and grade student competencies.

• Provide mid-term and final evaluations on each student.

• Review student timecards daily.

• Represent their clinical site during the interview process for new/incoming students.

• Attend monthly Clinical Preceptor meetings.

• Investigate and mediate disciplinary action when necessary. Enforce program policies and procedures.

• Ask department technologists about student performance and behavior.

Qualifications
Requires:

• Ability to work with diverse cultural backgrounds, a wide range of personality types and ages is necessary.
• Proficient time management skills.
• Works collaboratively with the Program Director of NSCC Radiology Tech program.
• Up to three years of progressive experience in diagnostic x-ray procedures to be thoroughly knowledgeable of quality control standards.
• Satisfactory completion of a formal Radiologic Technology Training program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRC/ERT) required.

• Licensure with the Department of Public Health to practice Radiologic Technology in the state of Massachusetts and American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required, for Radiography.
