Position Information: DescriptionThe Department of Education, Health, and Behavior Studies is seeking two (2) Clinical Assistant Professor, Positions. Responsibilities include providing clinical services in the Northern Prairie Community Clinic (NPCC).  Northern Prairie Community Clinic is an integrated training clinic, run jointly through departments of Clinical Psychology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, and Counseling Psychology and Community Services.  We provide mental health and speech language services to community members.  In addition to student training, NPCC offers providers the opportunity to see community clients though billing their insurance.  We currently offer both in person and telehealth opportunitiesPosition Benefits

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Providing clinical services in the Northern Prairie Community Clinic (NPCC)
Required Competencies
  • Assessment and diagnosis if behavioral health and/or substance abuse
  • The delivery of mental health inventions for individuals
  • Ethical decision-making and practice
Minimum Requirements
  • Licensed/License Eligible as a Psychologist in North Dakota, Licensed Counselor, and / or Licensed Addiction Counselor in North Dakota
  • Successful completion of criminal history records check

In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the US and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire. 

Preferred Qualifications
    Expertise or experience in child/adolescent populations. Experience in personality and cognitive assessment.Experience in chemical dependency evaluation.Experience working in a clinic or group practice with third-party reimbursement practices.
Minimum Hiring Salary

A negotiated base salary is negotiable for the first 6 months to support time for credentialing and establishing a clientele.  After 6 months, salary will be based on 60% of revenue generated by clinical service. The minimum expectations include providing 20 hours of billable clinical service per week.

Contract Period/Start Date

12 month/Negotiable
