We are seeking a Client Partner to join our Slalom Mid & Emerging Markets (MEM) team. As a Client Partner, you will work across all our capability areas (strategy through technology) and with our sales team to build strategies and deliver upon them in service of our clients and their organizations.

We're looking for an eager self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and is willing to get creative and try something, quickly adjusting to improve outcomes. Ability to work from the Slalom Seattle office and/or client locations a minimum 3 days per week.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with clients to understand and solve problems and bring value beyond the obvious
  • Manage $5M+ across one or more accounts
  • Responsible for profitability of assigned accounts (revenue/margin/bill rate/utilization goals)
  • Collaborate with sales executives and other account and practice leaders to create account plans/strategies to target and develop business with existing and new clients
  • Orchestrate and build pursuit teams to solve clients' business problems; lead teams through deal close
  • Lead (client) accounts, managing teams, consultants delivering on account(s) and providing internal updates on account activities
  • Play a delivery role on client engagement, often leading an engagement or project teams, delivering complex solutions - this role should be 40% billable on client engagements
  • Ensure delivery excellence by provide oversight and governance of all sold/managed engagements on your assigned accounts
  • Mitigate financial risks, people matters and billing disputes
  • Build and maintain long term client relationships
  • Maintain awareness of industry best practices (mostly tech, manufacturing, retail, media & comms in the MEM space) and understand how Slalom capabilities interact
  • Achieve and maintain high levels of client satisfaction across several engagements / Facilitate client satisfaction surveys
  • Actively coach consultants to ensure high quality delivery, help promote career growth and job satisfaction
What You'll Bring
  • Previous experience personally driving revenue and sales goals; experience closing new sales and experience managing accounts with growth targets
  • Experience in developing client relationships and deepening them over time
  • Ability to see around corners, show curiosity and bring a creator mindset to develop solutions for client problems
  • 10+ years' experience managing teams through all lifecycles of a project including experience working in an IT service or consulting firm managing a large account or multiple accounts
  • Experience managing transformational programs that incorporate people, processes, and technology
  • Proven experience with complex account management, navigating the nuances of mid and emerging markets
  • Experience managing the performance of individual consultants, either as direct reports and/or as members of project teams
  • Excellent negotiation, conflict management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a track record of client satisfaction
  • Constant and consistent learner mentality that you bring to work every day
  • Technology, manufacturing, retail, media & comms, fin serv and utilities industry experience or expertise preferable
  • Active and transferable industry relationships

Compensation and Benefits

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the base salary pay range is $175,000 to $281,000 and the targeted base salary range is $185,000 to $210,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
