Position Overview:
This position supports the organizational change readiness program in assessing, developing, executing, and monitoring change management strategies and activities across the organization. The incumbent works closely with stakeholders to understand the impacts of changes, develop strategies for successful implementation, and support individuals and teams through the transition process. Assists with managing and maintaining change management tools and evolving the organizational readiness function and competencies across the organization.

Essential Functions:

  • Identifies, assesses and maintains scope, level of impact, and support needed for each project and stakeholder.
  • Facilitates the implementation of changes, ensuring that activities are aligned with the change management plan.
  • Monitors progress, addresses issues, and provides support to individuals and teams during the transition.
  • Executes change impact collection process for each project (identify changes to processes, technology, and new way of thinking for each stakeholder group) and recommend improvements to the framework, tools, and approach.
  • Develops powerpoint decks and presentations ensuring alignment and integration with overall program communications strategy and plans.
  • Partners with Learning & Development and the Communication team to create robust communication and training plans.
  • Engages and communicates with key stakeholders, including executives, leaders and team members to build awareness, understanding, and support for proposed changes. Develops effective strategies to address resistance and mitigate risks.

Minimum Qualifications & Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, communications or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job.
  • Minimum of 3 years of managing project-driven changes including but not limited to business processes and/or organizational changes.
  • Prosci or other relevant certification, preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in applying change management best practices and methodologies.
  • Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools.
  • Strong listening, written and verbal communication skills, with ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences.
  • Advanced facilitation skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships.
  • Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal.
  • Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations.
  • Problem solving and root cause identification skills.
  • Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others to achieve goals and represent the business.
  • Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges.
  • Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle.
  • Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts.
  • Strategic and innovative, forward thinking.
  • High level of integrity.
  • Ability to manage moderate to complex and often highly confidential situations.
  • Ability to remain objective in balancing business needs and risk.
  • Valid driver's license.
