Principal- Change Management

Location: Denver (This role is not eligible for 100% remote work and employees must live within a commutable distance to the office in which the role is based.)

Compensation: $150,000-170,000 base (+ variable bonus)

Who You'll Work With

Our Business Advisory team is looking for a seasoned management consultant who is passionate about building innovative solutions to our Change Management and Organizational Effectiveness team. Ideally, you will have a strong change management background coupled with management consulting experience in ERP/SAP implementations and diverse technology adoption projects.

What You'll Do

Deliver Exceptionally

  • Understand the client's business need and future-state vision and be able to design effective organizational change management, learning and communications programs to drive business results
  • Be able to solution, sell and deliver from impact analysis through adoption mechanisms across all industries
  • Create and execute improvement plans adapted to the client environment
  • Design and conduct readiness assessments, evaluate results and present findings in a logical and easy-to-understand manner
  • Create and manage measurement systems to track adoption, utilization, and proficiency of individual changes as well as be able to communicate executive-level adoption progress
  • Identify resistance and performance gaps, and work to develop and implement corrective actions

Grow Expertise
  • Deepen and broaden role and expertise within Slalom, and the ability to mentor others in areas of expertise.
  • Develop a mastery in Pursuit & Engagement roles, while contributing to Slalom enhancing its capabilities within the practice.

Grow Slalom
  • Contributes to building the Slalom community via modeling Slalom brand stewardship, encouraging colleagues to engage in internal initiatives, and managing a professional network in area of expertise.
  • Manages business operations through maximizing staffability (self & others) and ensuring responsible projects financial & operational health.
  • Drives sales by proactively identifying opportunities for Slalom to deliver and by leading or solutioning for pursuits.
  • Quantitative expectations for this role would be 80%+ utilization and $1M + revenue (primarily sold or managed).

Lead
  • Develops skills to identify and mitigate personal biases and tailor style to collaborate with others, while also communicating openly and authentically on shares values, assumptions, and imperfections.
  • Leads others by celebrating uniqueness, empowers others to bring their full selves to work, and by modeling the habit of regularly requesting and providing feedback to others.
  • Develops teams by anticipating risks, proactively addressing obstacles, creating space for productive conflict, establishing norms to encourage open-mindedness and non-judgement for team mistakes, and co-creating team vision/strategy/outcomes as needed.

What You'll Bring
  • 10+ years of implementing and leading structured organizational change management, learning and communications, and interfacing directly with clients
  • Experience with implementing organizational change management for technology or system changes; high level of comfort with technology solutions and being able to tailor change management activities to the technology
  • Ability to develop an organizational change management strategy based on situational awareness of changes and the groups impacted
  • Ability to develop an organizational change management strategy, apply models and draw from best practices to customize solutions for client needs
Nice-to-have:
  • Salesforce Technology implementation and on-going support for technology adoption
  • Oversight for instructional design and training components of Change Management
