Description:

Role: Certified Trainer

Reporting: Reports to Learning Area Manager.

Role Expectations:

Training and Certification

• Administer and present the GameStop Formal PIT Classroom training, including PIT Operator Knowledge Check test, in alignment with designated standards.
• Certify Associates for safe operation of all PIT used in Fulfillment Center, including Reach Truck, Order Picker, Dock Stocker and Double Walkie Rider.
• Complete an "On the Job Audit" on every Associate who has successfully passed the initial practical PIT assessment within the timeline specified by GameStop.
• Oversee the scheduling of training for formal classroom, equipment practical assessments, certifications and bi-annual recertifications.
• Complete New Hire Onboarding training and process path training that meet GameStop's training delivery method.

Administration

• Manage time effectively to meet training needs for the Fulfillment Center.
• Correctly document certifications and training records per GameStop document retention standards.
• Update all training trackers, scheduling boards, staffing boards, certification licenses after all training/certifications are complete.
• Record all training (pass or fail) into GameStop Learning Management System and correct or escalate any training record that were entered or found to be an error.

Interpersonal Skills

• Build and maintain professional partnership with all Operational, HR, Safety and Facilities Leadership and all Associates on the Learning Team.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when presented with information about Leadership, new polices, Associates, co-workers, etc. including but not limited to performance, discipline, termination, etc.
• Education and Certification Requirements
• High School diploma or equivalent certification
• GameStop Certified Training Certification, completed within 30 days of hire and before certifying any Associate on Powered Industrial Trucks.
• Complete training to be able to perform all duties of an Associate within 30 days of hire; regularly work in operation process paths to maintain working knowledge and awareness.
