The University of Miami Hospital Food Service Department has an exciting full time opportunity for a Catering Attendant.
The Catering Attendant (U) delivers and serves food at scheduled functions and ensures the accurate execution of all events. Additionally, the Catering Attendant (U) maintains a clean and safe working environment and follows safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
CORE JOB FUNCTIONS
Logs and maintains food temperatures. Arranges tables and decorations. Arranges buffet tables with food, beverage, and service items according to standards. Serves food and beverages to guests. Cleans location after event is completed. Returns food and beverages, serving equipment, and utensils to appropriate facility. Stocks, cleans, and maintains catering facility and equipment. Maintains in-depth knowledge of complete menu and products on hand. Documents feedback regarding foods and service and directs issues and concerns to the appropriate managing staff. Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.
