Calibration Technician Job Summary

Our company is looking for a Calibration Technician to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring that all our inspection instruments, such as a micrometer, calipers, torque wrenches are calibrated, accurate and well-maintained. You will inspect all equipment thoroughly before they are put into rotation for use. Our ideal candidate has a relevant associate degree, but we are willing to work with any candidate that experience working withor experience working in the calibration/metrology field. electricity

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform calibration on linear measurement equipment, air pressure and flow gauging, dedicated gauging, torque wrenches, balance machines and qualification of special processes.
• Operate and maintain calibration system and records in accordance with ISO 10012 Standard
• Responsible for calibration database, monthly recall and reports
• Responsible for vendor calibration services
• Responsible for gauging system qualifications and uncertainty calculations
• Responsible for maintaining the Calibration Lab in an organized and orderly fashion

Requirements and Qualifications

• Working knowledge of calibration quality requirements from standards such as ISO 10012
• Strong technical aptitude
• Must be able to write complete and concise calibration reports
• Strong attention to details, highly organized and computer literate
• Must be able to exercise independent judgment performing
• Basic Computer Skills
