Job Title:C.A.R.E Academic Success & Enrichment SpecialistDepartment:Engineering | Diversity Inclusion and Outreach

Assists with the coordination and implementation of summer and academic year student services programs (e.g., Academic Coaching for Engineering, EXCEL, ACCELERATE, etc.) for 2nd and 3rd year Engineering students that promote academic excellence and inclusion. Assists with the training of the tutors, oversee tutors schedule and tracks of timesheets. Oversees the logistical coordination of events including advertisement and informational sharing with students. Tracks student activity in academic success suites and programs to assists with program assessment and retention reporting. Creates and maintains student databases. Manages the day-to-day operations of the CARE Student Academic Success Suite (SASS) (e.g., opening and closing of space, managing room reservations, ordering office supplied, etc.). Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in education and/or STEM related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 2 years' experience coordinating and implementing student academic programs. Excellent communication (written and verbal) and organizational skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs. Ability to pay attention to detail and accurate identify errors or corrections. Ability to work with faculty, staff, students, and external organizations of diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds. Ability to work independently and to delegate.
