Business Unit Leader (Experienced Level Professional)

MISSION:

The successful candidate will lead and drive their team's safety, machine, quality, delivery and cost (SMQDC) performance through team member's development, in order that the facility reaches the objectives of customer satisfaction. You will engage the team to guarantee the implementation of Lean Manufacturing tools.

KEY EXPECTED ACHIEVEMENTS:

• Lead, engage and develop a team of up to 60 high performing manufacturing professionals in a 24 hour a day, 7 day a week operational facility.
• Ensure the accurate level of mastery, as required for the team, of operational standards and the Michelin Manufacturing Way (MMW).
• The team and its members are empowered and visibly committed.. Autonomy increases through the evolution of cross-training, competencies and responsibility.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3+ years of manufacturing management experience in a heavy equipment environment.
• Associates degree required. Preferred Bachelor degree.
• A strong mechanical understanding is a preferred.
• Must have a history of facilitating team development
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• A high dedication to people development.
