Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Technical Business Analyst to join our team. The Technical Business Analyst will play a critical role in gathering and documenting business requirements, aiding in design of technical solutions, and ensuring the quality and reliability of applications through quality testing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in requirements documentation, testing and quality assurance, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Functions and Responsibilities

* Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
* Translate business requirements into user stories for development and testing teams.
* Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of IT systems and applications developed by the team.
* Identify and document defects and issues, and work with the development team to prioritize and resolve.
* Provide ongoing support and guidance to stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
* Other duties as assigned

Skills and Abilities

* Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, or Quality Assurance Analyst
* Strong background in documenting requirements and distilling them into user stories
* Experience with software testing methodologies and tools, including test planning, test case development, and test execution.
* Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, developers, and testers.
* Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a strong drive to achieve project goals
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

* 3+ years as a Business Analyst or related role
* Azure DevOps Ownership experience a plus
* Experience using project management tools such as: Jira, Leankit, Azure DevOps, SPM
* Excellent written and spoken communication skills
* Automated testing tool experience a plus
