Summary:
Works under the direction of more senior IT team members; provides IT support of a full-service Radiation Oncology department while ensuring that technology solutions and systems align with the needs and objectives of the business and organization. Works closely with business owners and IT team members to assess, document business processes/requirements, recommend process improvements and document system processes; performs lower level and routine software design, configuration, testing and support activities for a wide range of software applications. Manages all department workstations and peripherals(printers, scanners, etc..). Manages department software upgrades. Works with IT department to coordinate database maintenance, security and software updates, and networking. Monitors application implementation and determines optimum capacity of hardware and software. Works with administrative and clinical teams to develop reporting and metrics visualization.

Starting salary for this position is $64,589 annually which includes a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience

1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, data science, management information systems or a related field; or
2. Associates degree in computer science, engineering, data science, management information systems or a related field and the equivalent of two (2) years of full-time computer systems or business systems analyst experience; or
3. High School diploma or High School Equivalency diploma with a diploma or certificate in a computer science, or related field and the equivalent of four (4) years of full-time computer systems or business systems analyst experience.

NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

The preferred candidate will have a proficiency working with SQL and experience working with Microsoft Operating Systems; MS SQL Server; Office 365; Citrix. The candidate must demonstrate strong problem-solving skills. They must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be comfortable working closely with end users to troubleshoot and address technical issues and document their solutions. Familiarity with Radiation Oncology specific applications (Elekta MOSAIQ, Varian Eclipse) is strongly desired. The candidate must be a self-starter and be able to work independently.
