The Business Strategy Coordinator will work alongside the Sr. Director, Business Strategy and Director, Community Relations to execute strategies to maximize community outreach and engagement as well as support operations and event experiences needs for the all-new Chicago Street Course event.

Note - This is a seasonal position for the Chicago Street Course event.

Duties:

  • Update Community Engagement Plan and Calendar with programs happening in the Community
  • Support Community Engagement Programs as outlined by manager
  • Work with manager to report on community engagement programs with metrics to share with Sr. Leadership
  • Act as a good steward in the Chicago Community and NASCAR
  • Attend relevant events and activities to represent the company
  • Respond to inquiries from community members and other interested parties
  • Work with Sr. Director, Community Relations to build community awareness microsite
  • Conduct research and analysis on potential future Community Engagement Programs
  • Act as Office Manager to help support staff needs in the office
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:

  • Self-motivated, positive attitude and passion for marketing
  • Strong executional capabilities

  • Strong collaboration skills are critical
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
