RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client, a prominent global diversified financial services company in New York, NY is seeking a Business Risk Officer - VP Operational Risk.Summary:This is an opportunity to work for an incredibly stable and growing business that rewards its strong performers with both tenure and advancement. - Risk assessments: Identify, assess, manage, implement test, and review controls related to non-financial risk (i.e., operational risk)
- Assist and execute on projects to help meet regulatory compliance or to remediate weaknesses
- Review new businesses and product reviews
- Develop, implement, and review policies, procedures, processes, and systems
- As a Business Control Officer, you will manage projects including remediation
- GAP analysis
- Develop KPIs to track risk
- Work with business leaders and second line of defense
- Regulatory change management
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of experience in risk management
- Knowledge within the financial sector both in the US and globally
- PC skills with proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Word and advanced used of Excel
- Ability to effectively analyze and manage data
- Ability to clearly present data and provide context where necessary
- Awareness of US regulatory landscape
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
