Job Title:
Business Process & Systems Lead, Mobility

Company:

Prologis

A day in the life

Do you want to play a role in driving mobility and energy innovation in global commerce? The transition to battery electric and hydrogen fuel cell vehicles will transform how our customers operate their fleets. Driven by economics, policy and/or legislation, more than 30% of fleets will be comprised of zero emission vehicles across the different vehicle classes during the next decade.

Prologis Mobility is tackling a unique opportunity to leverage Prologis's real estate, development platform, renewable energy expertise, and customer base to build a market leading turn-key electric vehicle charging business. Medium and heavy-duty electric fleet vehicles of the future will largely be charging at warehouses and mobility hubs. This, together with the expanding market penetration of e-commerce and the resulting growth in warehousing space, puts Prologis in a unique position to provide vehicle charging solutions at scale. We have already charged 2M+ miles for electrified fleets and are only getting started.

As Prologis Mobility's Business Process & Systems Lead, you will be the architect of an efficient and effective operating system that enables seamless cross-functional collaboration and scales with the organization as it grows. Reporting to the VP of Business Operations and working in close partnership with the Energy, Mobility & Sustainability Technology team, you will ensure that the Mobility team and our support groups have well designed and documented business processes backed by the right technical systems and analytical tools to optimize execution.

We are looking for a detail-oriented self-starter who is versatile, can thrive in a fast-paced environment, and think critically. The ideal candidate will have a track record as a highly effective business operations / revenue operations partner to business unit leadership. You must demonstrate excellent collaboration, communication, analytical, and organizational skillsets, and have demonstrable experience identifying and diagnosing the root-cause of complex business problems and developing process and systems solutions to address them.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Organize business operations process and systems priorities leveraging agile methodology
  • Articulate detailed requirements for all process and systems projects by interviewing stakeholders, and diagnosing root causes. Develop and document clear project plans with roles and responsibilities to execute the solutions
  • Manage cross-system data architecture, data analysis, and data visualization projects
  • Partner with the Technology team to align capabilities across people, process and technology: work together with Technology team to implement systems and software solutions to business challenges across multiple platform tools including Salesforce, Sigma, Tableau, Yardi, and custom software
  • Create and maintain accessible, digestible, and standardized process documentation for both existing and new processes
  • Organize and implement effective change management for updated and new process/ system roll outs
  • Manage ongoing education, leadership, and coaching efforts on business processes for new and existing team members
  • Monitor effectiveness of processes and proactively engage with teams to evolve approaches, mechanisms, tools, and processes
  • This position will be a senior individual contributor that will have high impact and will lead significant initiatives and teams
